SUMMARY:Circulation Element Update Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Special City Council Meeting on Wednesday to discuss the Circulation Element Update. The meeting will be from 4-6 pm on Wednesday\, May 13th\, at City Council Chambers. \nThe Circulation Element was adopted in 1989 and has never undergone a comprehensive update until the current revision process was initiated in October 2020. After years of technical analysis and public outreach\, the Planning Commission reviewed a draft in November 2024 and recommended City Council approval with revisions\, such as renaming “arterials” to “connectors” and removing consideration of Level of Service.  \nOn Wednesday\, the City Council will provide policy direction on whether to retain or eliminate specific goals from the 2024 draft.
